Picardo in Claude

Picardo's connector lets Claude browse Picardo's blood test panels and individual Labcorp tests, explain what each includes and how to prepare, and give you a link to review and order on picardo.health.

Connect Picardo

  1. In Claude, open Customize, then Connectors.
  2. Choose Add, then Add custom connector.
  3. Name it Picardo and enter https://mcp.picardo.health/claude as the server URL.
  4. Choose No sign-in, then Add and Connect.

The connector works in Claude on the web, desktop and mobile. In Claude Code, run claude mcp add --transport http picardo https://mcp.picardo.health/claude.

Things to ask

  • What blood tests can I get to check on my heart health?
  • Show me the lab panels I can order and what they cost.
  • What's in the thyroid panel, and do I need to fast for it?
  • How much does a ferritin test cost, and is it already in any of your panels?
  • Put together the Heart Health panel plus a ferritin test and give me a link to order it.

Panels appear as cards in the conversation. Claude may ask before using Picardo's tools; you can change that in the connector's settings.

What the connector does

  • List lab panels: Picardo's panels, who each is for, how many tests it includes and its price.
  • Get a lab panel: every test in a panel, why it's included, and how to prepare, such as fasting.
  • Search lab tests: individual Labcorp tests by name, code or topic, with prices and the panels that already include them.
  • Prepare an order link: a link to Picardo's order review page for the panels and tests you chose.

Every tool only reads Picardo's public catalogue. Nothing is ordered, saved or charged in Claude.

Ordering

The order link opens a review page on picardo.health. There you enter your details and pay, and a licensed physician reviews the order before the lab requisition is released. Blood is drawn at a Labcorp location or at home. Prices in Claude are subtotals; checkout shows the exact total, including any at-home draw fee.

Orders are for adults 18 and over, and aren't available to people who live in New York, New Jersey, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, Maryland, Massachusetts, Hawaii or Maine.

Picardo shares general health information, not medical advice. Talk to a licensed clinician about your results and treatment.

Privacy

The connector never asks for your name, contact details or health history, and it can't see your Picardo account or results. It receives only the panel and test identifiers or search words a request needs. See Picardo in ChatGPT and other AI assistants in our privacy policy.
